80cc two-stroke engine
The PW80 has been a favourite with generations of children thanks to its responsive 2-stroke engine which delivers a smooth band of easy power. And with a separate oil tank for the autolube lubrication system, there’s no need to premix the oil with the petrol.
Three-speed semi-automatic transmission
semi-automatic transmission features a three speed transmission, allowing the rider to change gear without using a clutch.
Slim and lightweight chassis
Weighing in at just 57kg, the PW80 is one of the lightest bikes in the class, and its compact two-stroke engine means it’s also one of the slimmest. Add to that its low 635mm seat height and it’s easy to see why the PW has become such a favourite with parents and kids.
Off road suspension
Just like the TT-R90, the PW80’s chassis offers 110mm front suspension travel and 95mm movement at the rear end, giving a comfortable ride even over bumpy ground.
Dependable drum brakes
With drum brakes at the front and rear, the PW80 rider has plenty of smooth and dependable stopping power available whenever it’s needed.
High ground clearance
A generous 185mm of ground clearance means that the PW80 can be ridden on bumpy terrain with ease.
YZ style bodywork
When you see the blue bodywork there’s no mistaking the YZ-motocross bike image of this lightweight two-stroke. And for YZ racers of the future, there is surely no better way to start than with a PW80.
