AGV

AGV is a brand focused completely on Motorcycle helmets.

The company began in 1947 founded by Gino Amisano in a city in Italy called Valenza, AGV is an acronym including the founders name and city and was made into Amisano Gino Valenza (AGV). It wasn't until 1967 when the first full face helmet came into action, this particular style is what took over the racing world.

As the years went on the name AGV got bigger and bigger as many championship winning riders began to wear the brand, starting with Giacomo Agostini and Angel Nieto, 2 of the biggest names in motorcycle racing history. This then led on to other riders such as the late Barry Sheene & also Marco Lucchinelli. Also in recent times the late Marco Simoncelli wore these helmets. The 2 current big riders that AGV sponsor are Guy Martin who races on the road in events like the Isle of Man TT.

Another big rider is possibly the biggest name in Moto GP of all time Valentino Rossi who has been sponsored by AGV since the start of his racing career.
